GENERAL DUTIES
Tennis Professionals at Top Seed Tennis Club (TSTC) have the goal of providing members and guests the opportunity to learn about, improve and enjoy the game of tennis. They are responsible for TSTC tennis instruction and programming. They organize tennis clinics and/or private lessons that encourage participation in TSTC activities. Job duties include mostly on-court responsibilities and some administrative responsibilities, such as player evaluations, inputting practice plans, covering the front desk, giving tours, selling memberships, etc.
Full-time and Part-time positions available.
Duties include but not limited to;
· Supervise TSTC tennis play, as directed.
· Provide competent tennis instruction for all groups and levels of play.
· Enforce TSTC policies, Code of Conduct, rules and regulations; governing the use of the facility, its equipment and other property.
· Enthusiastically encourage participation by assisting in planning events to promote programs, membership, and fellowship at TSTC.
· Prepare tennis clinics, films, fun playing events and/or tennis education programs, etc. for relative activities.
. Maintain/use courts and equipment in a professional manner, and ensure the safety of participants.
· Represent TSTC at assigned professional tennis activities/events.
· Inform members and customers about ongoing/new programs at TSTC.
· Assist with promotion of programs and TSTC.
· Participate in on-court training sessions at TSTC and/or competitive events, as assigned.
· Assist in organizing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly programs.
· Maintain a professional appearance at all times when representing TSTC.
· Maintain close working relationships with TSTC professionals.
· Facilitate the interaction among players at TSTC clinics and programs.
· Work under the guidance of the Director of Tennis/GM in performing daily responsibilities such as assigning players to groups, keeping attendance, etc.
· Work with the Director of Tennis/GM to assist with the implementation of programs and providing feedback.
· Complete other duties as assigned.
Professional Development
· Maintain member status in USPTA/PTR.
· Maintain and expand the relationship between TSTC and potential members/customers and organization/community partnerships.
· Participate in workshops and continuing education (20 hours per year).
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Certified tennis professional.
. Team player with proficient communication skills.
· Relevant health and safety, and first aid training/certification is a plus.
· NDA and Confidentiality Agreement required upon hire.
. Non-Compete required upon hire.
· Passion for spreading the game of tennis.
· Available nights and/or weekends.
· U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
