I only started competing in Track & Field my junior year. I started my career late and I was only 16 years old my senior year. I didn't let that stop me. I had a great season and broke meet records so I reached out to VCU, where I ended up competing. Despite age and lack of experience, I excelled my freshman year and exceeded expectations.
