General Description:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sr. Director of Events and Events Manager to facilitate and develop programming that enhances the team's events and marketing efforts while supporting the organization's overall vision and mission. The position is full-time and requires additional evening and weekend hours as dictated by the department's events and game day responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:

Plan/Oversee all logistics and promotion for the following events and programs:

o Colts In Motion

o Summer Tour (Fan Fest and Colts at Bat)

o Touchdown Town

o Blue Fridays

o Colts Connections

Support in the planning and operation for the following events and programs:

o Town Hall

o Draft Parties

o Training Camp

o Colts 5K

o Colts Kickoff Luncheon

o Kickoff Concert

Oversee www.colts.com Events Page updates, as well as specific event pages
Oversee calendar updates (www.colts.com, internal Marketing)
Manage all Marketing Vehicles
Manage all inflatables and Colts Helmet requests
Coordinate Register To Win Fulfillment for various programs and events
Handle administrative tasks for Mkt/Events Department (misc. phone calls, inventory, e-mails, etc.)
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

4-year degree in Sports Marketing, Communications, Marketing or a related field
1-2 years experience in event management, marketing in the sports industry preferred
Strong verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and think quickly on one's feet using independent judgment
Ability to think creatively and innovatively
Knowledge of social and digital media strategies
