Role Summary:
As the Talent Acquisition Researcher - Ad Sales at NBCUniversal, you will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert on building a diverse pipeline of talent for hard to fill roles, proactively identifying candidates by utilizing multiple recruiting strategies, sharing top talent across the portfolio, effectively communicating the recruiting process to partners, and attending industry and diversity related events.
Responsibilities:
Utilize established research methodologies, public data and industry resources to deliver full-service research offering including, but not limited to: qualitative name generation, candidate/talent mapping and profiling, generation of diverse talent pools, competitive market analysis, and pipelining.
Guide the strategy and execution of real-time talent pipelines, partnering with Recruiters, HR leaders, internal Employee Resource Groups as well as the external market.
Develop strong relationships with Ad Sales Recruiters, HR Partners and Business Leaders to understand business needs and talent gaps. Share diverse talent for active and future searches. Use market expertise and business acumen to educate and influence hiring managers on top diverse talent.
Proactively engage with diverse talent in the market through general sourcing/networking, referrals, career fairs, and industry and diversity-focused events. Build and maintain network of potential candidates through on-going relationship management.
Plan, execute, and attend events with NBCU Campus Initiatives counterparts, HR and business partners, and external diversity organizations to build external awareness of opportunities in NBCU Ad Sales. Identify and recommend creative ways to brand NBCU Ad Sales as an employer of choice.
Act as a subject matter expert in Ad Sales and the larger media landscape. The ability to capture key players in the industry, strong knowledge of functional business areas, and proven ability to assess the competitive landscape and spot organizational and industry trends.
Share and educate the broader Ad Sales Talent Acquisition team and HR team on best practices and diversity trends.
Provide metrics and measurement against the established diversity recruiting strategy. Provide reporting and present on diversity and hiring metrics on a quarterly and as-needed basis.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least 2 years of related work experience in a search firm or corporate recruiting environment with proven experience with candidate pipelining
Experience managing projects and owning candidate & client relationships
Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft office, Outlook, PowerPoint) and/or SAP

Desired Characteristics:
Prior media industry and/or ad sales experience is preferred
Proven track record as a corporate recruiting coordinator, corporate recruiter or agency recruiter across a wide range of disciplines
Familiarity with current sourcing techniques; strong research and candidate generation skills
Ability to manage multiple searches at different points within the recruiting lifecycle across
multiple priorities
Proactive and self-motivated
Ability to generate a high volume/high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines
Exceptional planning, time management, communication, organization and interpersonal skills
Must possess excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Strong public speaking, interpersonal, and assessment skills
Individual should be a team player
Possess outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong follow-up skills and ability to interact with management of all levels
Proficient in applicant tracking systems, Recruiting Tools and Microsoft Office
