Football Color Commentator (Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana Area)
Job Summary
My name is Michael Dywan. I am the Sports Director at Region Sports Network, which broadcasts high school and upper-level sporting events in the Northwest Indiana area.
We want to fill out our color commentator side for the upcoming football season. That said, here is what we are looking for.
- One to fulfill a part-time role, just going to games/events, and calling them (Friday evenings, roughly 6-10pm)
- Someone familiar or open to learning about the NWI high school football landscape
- Someone who played football at any level and has knowledge of the rules, strategies, and why things happen in a game
- More important than any experience on the mic
- Able to travel to and from game locations (Lake and Porter County)
- Able to communicate frequently and effectively
- Able to be relied on to show up on time and fully prepared for the event
- Able to work with a PBP personality whom they may have never met prior to that evening
