THE OPPORTUNITY
A unique, rare opportunity has opened to become Team President of a Baseball Team in the Southeast United States.

THE DETAILS
Our General Manager will have profit and loss responsibility and be the face of the team in the community. You’ll lead a staff of at least one full time plus a number of part time staff. If there is an opportunity to grow revenue, we’re willing to add more staff to make that happen. Your primary job will be revenue – focusing on managing and growing ticket, sponsorship and special event revenue while overseeing all staff and the day to day business operations of the team. Because we want you to focus on revenue and the growth of the organization, we’ve built a support staff around you. You will be responsible for growing the revenue of the organization and fan experience.

Our Team President will be a senior leader of our company as we look for opportunities to grow our portfolio of businesses and opportunities in the sports industry.

WHAT TYPE OF PERSON ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We want someone focused on revenue. Have we made that clear? Revenue pays the bills. If you want to sit behind a desk and tell interns what to do and coast, this job isn’t for you.

Ticket Sales
You’ll lead the ticket sales efforts - coaching, teaching and guiding the ticket sales staff and sales interns. You have to be willing to go on sales calls with the ticket sales staff and guide the ticket sales strategy with the help of our marketing team.

Sponsorships
You’ll be the sponsorship salesperson and work hand-in-hand with your Director of Marketing on activation. You have to be willing to get out on 5-7 sponsorship sales calls each week and close deals.

Business Oversight
You’ll have direct oversight of Operations, Food and Beverage, Game Entertainment, special events and the budget. You run the business with guidance, direction and support from ownership. This role requires attention to details and a never-ending desire to improve. What you don’t know, we’ll teach you and support you on, so you constantly improve.
