If you love sports and want a career in sports sponsorship, an internship is the best way to break into the industry.


What will you do?
  • Provide sales support background information pertaining to potential sponsors (e.g. current sports activity, media spending, key executives’ bios, etc.)
  • Initiate contact and open the lines of communication with appropriate personnel within each company
  • Develop strategic sponsorship proposals to successfully meet the objectives of the client and potential partners
  • Research sponsors, events and market trends for the sports industry
  • Corporate Consulting
  • Research existing and potential clients
  • Track competitive activity for existing clients
  • Maintain and update client activity database

What is generally required?
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software (PowerPoint and Photo Shop a plus)
  • Minimum commitment of 30 hours per week
